Join a Class

We offer small group classes with a focus on personalised adjustments and optional layers to accommodate individual needs. We have a maximum of 10 people in Matwork, 6 in Barre Attack and 5 in Reformer classes.


While our classes lean towards fitness Pilates rather than clinical, we prioritise slow, controlled movements with ample cueing. Sessions are 60 minutes for Matwork and 50 minutes for Reformer and we do a 10-15 minute stretch in Matwork as we find a lot of our clients really enjoy this.


Our studio prides itself on its relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and we strive to create a welcoming environment for all.

Reformer

Emphasises Strength, Flexibility, Balance, and Coordination

A Reformer is a Pilates machine which adds resistance to the Pilates exercises via the use of springs to improve strength.


Reformer is a fun workout that will help you build strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. This will help to improve your daily life with better posture, effective movement and better body alignment.

 

We have a max of 5 in a class so you get that 1:1 feeling. This also means that exercises can easily be modified for all fitness levels.


These classes are generally more intense and dynamic than mat based pilates, for those looking for that little bit more in their workout.

Pilates Matwork class

Matwork

Strengthen Your Core
Increase Flexibility
Improve Posture

A gentle, full body workout targeting and isolating specific muscles to tone and strengthen your body.  Matwork is a great first class for beginners.


Our Matwork classes are a full body, flowing workout focusing on core strength, posture, mobility, balance, improving strength, and flexibility.  This class uses body weight and gravity for resistance, and a wide variety of props  such as fit ball, resistance band, magic circle, and foam rollers. 


We finish every class with 10-15 minutes of stretching and relaxation.


Duration: 60 Minutes

Core Work

Barre Attack is a popular fitness class combining the best of Pilates, cardio and ballet.


In one class you will experience:

The benefits of Pilates including body conditioning, increasing flexibility and helping to give you those long, lean muscles.


The benefits of Cardio getting your heart pumping so you’re burn­ing calories, and making your heart stronger reducing the risk of heart issues, reducing stress and basically getting you fit.


The benefits of Ballet including posture, alignment, balance and flexibility.


This class also uses resistance bands, hand weights, sliders, Pilates balls and incorporates functional exercises.


On top of the obvious physical benefits it’s also fun!

SHORT SPINE is definitely a client favourite in the studio.

It's hard to believe that just over 12 months ago this client had major spinal injuries. With 1 on 1 pilates, some stretching and exercises at home he is almost back to pre injury condition.  Amazing core control and spine articulation.
